what symptoms did Florinef clear up for you?

I have an aldosterone of 3 ng/dl, and am retesting.  If it is still low, my doctor agreed to let me start Florinef.  I do not have Addison's, just low aldosterone.  Just wondering what symptoms finally improved after you started it!  Thanks so much.
I think the main symptom that Florinef helped me with was dizziness. Whenever I would stand up I would feel extremely dizzy due to low blood pressure.  I also do not crave salt like I used to due to the fact that my body is now able to hold on to sodium.
Exactly the same with me... reduced the dizziness from several times per day to once every week or two. Also reduced the salt cravings. And... my weight climbed pretty quickly. Gained about 10% pretty quickly, eating and exercising the same as before.

I was on florinef for about 18 months, varying dosage periodically as symptoms worsened or improved.  Minimum 0.1mg, maximum 0.25mg.

Some time later, I started taking Licorice Root and reduced the Florinef.  I was able to increase the licorice root enough to drop the Florinef entirely.  I'm now taking 4 450mg Licorice Root caps daily, and I'm rarely dizzy.  Once or twice a month.

(p.s. the Licorice Root must have glycyrrhizanate... some products have that active ingredient removed, but that's the ingredient that does the trick.  Careful!  It raises blood pressure!)
Dizziness, salt cravings and constant thirst disappeared when I started taking Florinef or the generic fludrocortisone.  Also my blood pressure returned to a normal reading instead of dropping to as low as 70/30 which caused me to fall on the floor a couple of times.  I was on Florinef 0.2mg and was able to reduce it to 0.1mg  when the hydrocortisone finally reached the right dose for me at 10mg at 5AM, 10mg at 11:30AM and 10mg at 4:30PM.
